Beijing Information Science & Technology University (BISTU) was formed in 2008 when two older institutions, Beijing Institute of Machinery (BIM) and Beijing Information Technology Institute (BITI), merged.BISTU offers thirty two bachelor degrees, fourteen first-level master’s degrees, thirty-four second level-master’s degrees, and two professional master degrees (Master of Engineering and MBA). Additionally, BISTU is authorized by the Ministry of Education of offer MSC degrees in eight engineering subject areas.
